Healing and recovery times vary for each patient. In the days following any procedure, it is crucial to remain in touch with your veterinarian. Even if everything seems “back to normal,” we must stay in communication. Therefore, we ask that 24 hours following the procedure, please submit a photo/video of your pet, a photo/video of the specific area (ex: incision site, mouth, extraction site, or any other concerning area, etc.) along with a quick update on their recovery. This is to be submitted to us via our secure, virtual TOAH app. Then, your veterinarian will respond to you with any suggestions/recommendations. It’s very easy! Simply download our APP from the APP Store or Google Play and search our hospital code TOAH. Register and message your veterinarian. We use this secure medical record application for various veterinary consultations; therefore, it may review costs and payments for certain services. However, this follow-up service is included* in the cost of your pet’s procedure. (*Excluding rare complications or any secondary issues) It is also essential to have TOAH APP ready to go in the unlikely event of ANY future pet emergencies.
