Dr. McPherson-Hurt & Team,

I just wanted to thank you for the excellent care that you’ve been providing for my dog, Salty.  My friend Colleen who is currently fostering her for me is a “new dog mom” and she has been so comforted by your excellent care and communication.  I especially appreciate that the technician got on the phone with me when I called to pay as well as your (Dr. M-H) follow up call.  I’m sorry I could not thank you in person as the time difference puts me at a disadvantage.  I know that Colleen chose to bring Salty Dog to your clinic based off an excellent recommendation and I couldn’t be more pleased with her care.  I’m all too aware of the struggles going on with veterinary medicine in the face of COVID-19, so I greatly appreciate it.
Take care of each other.
Very respectfully,
Danielle M. Diamond, DVM

Comments: “Everyone is courteous and friendly at the front desk (sorry, I don’t remember all their names). Techs Rachael & Jessie are wonderful with my cats who can be squirmy. Devon (office manager) who is behind the scenes has been very helpful and patient with me. Have been going to Dr. Fullenwider forever – need I say more! She is great with my cats who don’t like being there in the first place.”

Comments: “Today officially marks the 1-year anniversary that we took our little Mii into the office for his nerve-wracking procedure to remove his tumor and the journey to maintaining his lymphoma.

Just wanted to send this little picture and image to say thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to Dr Fullenwider, Dr McPherson, and EVERYONE at TOAH that have been with us along the way.

We all know the time we have with our fur-babies is limited, but we are thankful every day that we get to spend a bit more time with Mii thanks to the love and support he has received because of your amazing staff ðŸ™‚”

Love,
-Frank, Jocelyn & Mii

Comments “4 days after bringing home our 10 week old French Bulldog puppy, Winston, he began vomiting blood. Being a new puppy owner, I panicked. I called Tuscawilla Oaks and they advised me to come right in to be examined. He was diagnosed with Parvovirus and needed to stay for treatment. How could our little 10 week old puppy be facing such a serious illness? It freaked us out to no end that there was chance that out little guy could die! Dr. McPherson took him in an treated him immediately. She and the staff at the hospital answered our numerous calls and they kept him in good spirits during the treatment. A little over 24 hours later Winston was cleared to go home. Needless to say, Winston made a full recovery. Thanks to Dr. Dia McPherson-Hurt and the amazing staff at TOAH, Winston has remained a happy and healthy puppy. He has since received all of his vaccinations and come for all routine check ups. We look forward to many many more visits in the future.”

Comments: Just wanted to say thank you and give a shout out to Dr. Dia McPherson-Hurt for taking the time to let my 7 year old son listen to our puppy’s heartbeat with her stethoscope an also for answering some questions he had. When a doctor takes the time out of her busy day (and they were BUSY) to engage with my kid it is greatly appreciated! You never know who you might inspire to be a future doctor! ðŸ™‚

Comments: Hi everyone, We just wanted to say THANK YOU for the beautiful candlelight vigil that you did the other night. A special “Thank you” to Coral for putting together the video…it was a wonderful memorial to our pets! We’ve said it before but each of you is a blessing to us…to have a vet clinic where we feel like family, and KNOW that our pets will get the very best care is a wonderful comfort in our lives. Thank you all again, Tammy, Graham, and Kelsey Worthy

Comments: I cannot even begin to express the gratitude I feel for you and your staff. Not just now, but over the years. It has been a collective effort amongst everyone at TOAH to provide my “babies” with the best care, at any stage in their lives. Not only have you held my hand through the loss of my babies…but you have always welcomed any stray “critters” that I have brought in with a big smile and open arms. The biggest thanks I could give to anyone is to you…for saving my “Isa”. Someday, you may tell her story, if you wish….but she rescued me. I think everyone that takes a rescue says that…and in my case, it is an accurate statement. She has blossomed into my 24/7 assistance dog. Having Multiple Sclerosis, I sometimes fall…and have balance issues. Isa will lay beside me when I fall….and assit me in getting back up when I am ready. She is my angel…and is there for so many other things too. Thank you for taking her in when you did….and nursing her back to life. It was nothing short of a miracle that I would meet her after the loss of my last dog. Sincerely…cyndi read

Comments: We have taken all our pets to Tuscawilla Oaks Animal Hospital for over 17 years. Our animals have always received extraordinary care. Recently this hospital’s doctors and staff went beyond even my expectations. While caring for my horse and my friend’s horse at her home, I noticed a drastic change, which occurred over a very short period of time, in one of her older dogs. Leila was nonresponsive, cold, with very white gums. Time was not on our side at this point. My friend would be unable to take her beloved pet to her own vet across town, the dog would not make it. I called Tuscawilla Oaks immediatley, the receptionist acted with professional concern asking all the right questions. Even though my friend and her pet were not clients of any of the vets here, the receptionist insisted I bring her in ASAP. I am sure you can imagine my relief to find the vet tech right there as we came in to take Leila from us. My friend received swift and accurate veterinary advice from Dr. Lisa Blossey. Leila was taken into surgery within minutes. She was bleeding internally from an unknown growth. If not for the quick and thorough actions of Dr. Blossey and her staff, my friend would have lost her dog. The story does not end here, over the next few weeks Dr. Blossey continued to call and monitor Leila, even when Leila needed to move to AVS to continue her recovery. I recently stopped in for my own dog and the entire staff and Dr. Fullenwider questioned me on how Leila was progressing. This is a very special Animal Hospital, filled with caring, professional staff and vets, that go beyond the usual call of duty. I would not go anywhere else for any of my pets’ veterinary needs. Tuscawilla Oaks Animal Hospital offers only the best care!
