Congratulations to our June 2025 Pet of the Month, Pepper Landers!
Pepper first appeared in the backyard beside a birdbath, locking eyes with every squirrel and bird that dared to cross her path. For days, she lingered—skinny, hungry, and determined. Despite attempts to ignore her (we all know how that goes), Pepper’s persistence paid off. One meal turned into a home, and just like that, she became a proud member of the Landers family.
Now fully settled in, Pepper approaches every meal like it might be her last—swiftly swooping in on any leftover kibble from her feline siblings. Her motto? “No bite left behind.” Most of her time is spent lounging on the patio, where she keeps close company with her best bud, Bond. Where you find one, the other is never far behind.
From backyard wanderer to beloved family member, Pepper proves that sometimes, the best pets are the ones who choose us.
