BOARDING

We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.

We have a large indoor boarding kennel for the dogs with a variety of options. Small dogs may choose a small boarding cage in a separate quiet room or may desire a run if they are more active. Large dogs may board separately or in a large run if they want to room with their housemates. They are walked at least three times daily in a fenced walking area.

Cats have their own separate, quiet boarding room in which they can relax and be comfortable away from the dogs.   

Our kennel staff monitors all boarding animals' appetite and urination/bowel movements and alerts a staff veterinarian if they notice any problems. We feed Purina EN (a high fiber dry food so it's easy on the stomach) in house or you may bring your own pet's food if they are on a special diet or you wish not to change their diet while they are boarding. Medications, if needed, will be administered per your instructions.

BOARDING POLICY

Please call and make boarding reservations at least a few days in advance to prevent from any unavailability.

We do not allow chewing toys and bones/rawhides because they are considered choking hazards. Chewy treats are always welcome :)

Please do not bring personal bedding or blankets--we provide everything for your pet so they stay comfortable. Bedding is changed daily.

We also will not be taking leashes/collars so as to not lose them.

All boarding dogs are required to be current on their vaccinations (administered by a veterinarian) including Bordatella, Rabies, and DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, lepto, parainfluenza, parvo). All boarding cats are required to be current on their vaccinations (administered by a veterinarian) including Rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calcivirus, panleukopenia). Boarding patients must also be current on a fecal check (within the past year) to show that they are free of any and all parasites.

We offer kennel tours after 3:00pm weekly if you have any questions or concerns.

Baths

We offer bathing for any pets Monday through Saturday! Please call in advance to schedule your bath, as our kennel staff take a break midday. Drop off time for baths are between 8:00-9:00. Your pet should be ready by early afternoon, but you can pick up anytime until the last half hour before closing. Note: If you would like your pet to have his/her hair cut, please schedule a drop-off with one of our groomers. 

Grooming

Call us to make an appointment either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday mornings and they will snip, trim, and fluff to make your pet look his or her best. They will trim nails, clean ears, use medicated shampoos when needed, and beautify your pet. Have specific instructions? Leave them with any receptionist when you schedule or drop-off, or request to speak with the groomer upon arrival. These ladies will do their best to make sure your pet leaves happy and looking great!
