Ana Ruiz, Inventory Manager/Head Technician
I came to the USA when I was 5 years old from Havana, Cuba and brought with me a great love for animals and nature. I have bred and trained Champion Rottweilers for over 20 years. I enjoy going to dog shows or any excuse to take my dogs on a road trip. I hold an Associate degree from Mount Ida College in Animal Science. I made it in the animal field and it has become my passion. Having been a long time client of TOAH, I am honored now to be a part of the family! If you would like to see my dogs and all of their accomplishments, please take a look at my website: www.vonaluma.com
Charissa Rodriguez
Hi, my name is Charissa. I was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina and I graduated from University High School in 2005. After graduating, I sang on tour in Costa Rica for 3 months. I graduated from Florida Institue of Animal Arts in the summer of 2006, then began working at TOAH. I'm looking forward to seeing you!
Hi. My name is Jessie. I’ve been around animals my entire life. Since I was born I’ve at least had a dog and a cat, but since then I’ve had many more. When I was about 7, my family started breeding Chow Chows. Since then I have at least owned 3 chows. I have also owned a Bearded Dragon, a Blue and Gold Macaw, and an Aquatic Turtle. Now a-days you can walk around my house and find one dog and 4 cats. I started working in the animal field as a Kennel Assistant in 2005, and was trained to become a Veterinary Technician. I have been working as a Tech for about 3 years now and love every bit of it. The fact that sometimes I get to see lives come into this world as well as out, and the loving care that people can have toward them is unbelievable. I cannot see myself living in this world without animals.

Hi, my name is Dagmar and I was born and raised in Germany. As long as I can remember, my passion has always been animals and nature. At 10 years old, I became involved in the Equine sport. Interested in dog training and animal behavior, I graduated from National K-9 Dog Trainers School and participated in training of hunting dogs in Michigan. After living in different countries, I finally settled here in Florida with my husband and son in 1991. I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to work at TOAH and I love it. We are truly a team.

Kellie Sullivan

Hi my name is Kellie and I will be your pets surgical nurse. I came to TOAH about 2 years ago and love that I have become a part of the family here. I have worked in veterinary medicine for about 11 years and have been a technician for about 10 years. Most of my training has been in anesthesia and surgery. I have always had a great love for animals every since I was a young child. I began my career to become a veterinarian but decided to study law instead. Though veterinary medicine can be emotional and sometimes difficult, I love my position as a surgical nurse. Besides surgery, I also enjoy educating clients on any care that could possibly create a longer, healthier, more comfortable life style for our beloved senior pets. You will often hear me speak of my 16 year old cattle dog named Abby, she truly is my world. I also have a 5 year old lovebird named Pee Wee ( a.k.a. The Chicken Nugget) and a Fiancé who I absolutely adore. I'm excited to say that my Fiancé and I will be getting married in May 2012, and of course Miss Abby will be the most beautiful participant in our wedding!
